Restart map command

描述
Simple command that allows you to restart maps or force the reload of them.

SOFT RELOADS WILL NOT WORK ON MUTATIONS WHERE THERE'S NO COMMON INFECTED (TANK RUSH FOR EXAMPLE)

INTENDED FOR GAMEMODES SUCH AS CAMPAIGN

The host of the local server can execute these commands:
  • !reload or !re -> Allows you to a soft reload
  • !mapreload or !mr -> Forces the current map to reload again (might kick you out of the map)

FOR DEDICATED SERVER USERS
If you want to use the commands on your dedicated server.
Create an text file called "admin" in
<DIRECTORY WHERE L4D2 DEDICATED SERVER IS INSTALLED>\left4dead2\ems\vsynths_utils
and paste your steamID in it! (ONLY 1 ID IS ALLOWED OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT WORK)

no problem I just wanted to point out a few of those bugs, just so you know about it but this mod is still worth installing, and I still have it installed as of now

also the problem with the !reload in Survival mode Did actually surprisingly come in handy particularly with left 4 bots 2 and the admin mod installed essentially what I found with this bug is I could use it to set up a bot only Survival round by spawning one extra survivor and then eliminating myself and then typing in !reload or !re To start the round definitely not its intended use. But it is interesting to see the bots fight on their own While you just spectate with the free camera

yes, mapreload is the equivalent of loading the same map through the server console, for some reason, sometimes it justs kicks you out. I will update the description for a clearer explanation of this. thank you.

Also yes, the soft reload is kind of a hack so I'm not surprised it doesn't work as intended in other gamemodes besides campaign and mutations that derived from it.

this mod works great on campaigns however there are three problems with this mod that I have found. The first one is that on survival mode typing !reload or !re simply resorts to the round starting instead of reloading the map. Though this function works perfectly fine in the campaign the second problem is Typing !mapreload or !mr does not do what is advertised in the description instead typing it will simply result in you loading back in to the main menu on All game modes and the third and final problem is You cannot call a vote as the option simply is locked

other than that this mod is great and actually quite useful good job :steamthumbsup:

please elaborate. was it a game crash? server crash? was it from invoking from !reload or !mapreload?

Yeah, that's an issue I am aware but I couldn't find another way to restart the map with vscripts, sorry about that

it just works when you type !reload or !re two times, and when you type !mapreload or !mr it brings me to the main menu.
