Hello there! 👋
This is an unofficial fork of the inactive "Media Player" addon.
➡ Goal: Keep Media Player alive, stable, and working for everyone.

Supported services
➡ Out-of-the-box
  • YouTube (video)
  • SoundCloud
  • URL service for:
    • WebM videos
    • Images (.jpg, .png, .gif)
    • Audio (.mp3, .wav, .ogg)
➡ With GModPatchTool / GModCEFCodecFix
  • YouTube (Live)
  • TikTok
  • Dailymotion
  • Odysee
  • Twitch livestreams
  • URL Service for:
    • Video (.mp4, .mov, .mkv)
    • Cloud Storage (Google Drive)

Quick Setup Guide
➡ Windows
Works out-of-the-box.
For more services (YouTube Live, TikTok, Twitch, etc.) → use GModPatchTool / GModCEFCodecFix.
Setup Video ➡ Windows (x86-64 BETA is optional)

➡ Others
Requires x86-64 BETA branch + GModPatchTool / GModCEFCodecFix.
Setup Videos ➡ MacOS, Linux or Proton

Notes
  • Local videos cannot be played directly → upload them online first.
  • Government restrictions or VPN use may cause videos to fail.
  • Not compatible with the original addon by Sam. Please uninstall it first.
  • "Lambda Players" is working, but we don't provide support.

YES "Media Player - Extended Props" WILL WORK WITH THIS ADDON.

Known Issues
  • Some videos show black/white screen (reason unknown).
  • Not all TikTok videos work.
  • YouTube may sometimes not play due to restrictions outside our control.
  • There is no reliable solution for disabling AI voices on YouTube.

Simply the workshop description would have been enough to show whether it works or not.

I can't confirm it myself, but some users said that it works with this add-on here.
