This will change in Xavorion 3.0
Hard caps will be replaced with soft caps, editable via config. Still, some cap system is needed.
Otherwise, we end up with vanilla where biggest ship is always better, regardless of anything else.
You can tweak base speeds for each ship class in ShipsDatabase.lua file, other than that, class system cannot be removed.
You need to uninstall whole Xavorion and start new game on Vanilla instead.
Also, not sure what you mean by "installing boosts", vanilla upgrades don't exist in Xavorion so that doesn't sound right.
Not sure what you mean by roll system, but currently there's a single type of formation - arrow/spearhead.
You can create sub-formations to change it's flight shape - as pictured at in-game encyclopedia.
@Syl
There's a new UI on the left in build mode, which displays the ratio of thrusters, engines and other blocks.
If you're already at 100 p.p. then the only way to increase y/p/r is by Gyro subsystem upgrade.
But yeah - you can't make M6 as fast and agile as an M5 or M4 (at their top stats).
It's been a long time since I've checked which Xavorion mods could work as standalone,
at this point I'd suggest either using all of them, or none.
I think, in your case, is that shield component(custom code added by X), throws errors in some cases - due to missing X mods.
That would explain your issues, but that's just a guess.
I am working on a 3.0 version now, which will be just one package instead of 17+ mods, but it also means current version will stay as it is.
