Disclaimers

- This mod is an attempt to recreate an historical event. As such it depicts historical people, actions and events which may be pretty heinous. As the mod creator I DO NOT endorse any of the extreme ideologies, actions or beliefs that it depicts. The main goal of the mod is to present an authentic scenario of the Korean War for historical and gameplay purposes.

- The mod has been made by Bananschke and ApolloTheFirst!The map was originally by Eduard_Saladier, and udpated by 1.12 by msrainynight. My only input is in terms of localisation, and general tips and instruction.

-This mod is IN PROGRESS. Meaning it is NOT COMPLETE! So keep this in mind when you play it. While there is a decent amount of content, there is still alot missing. All that Bananschke intends to add.

Welcome to the BETA VERSION of SCENARIO: KOREA!

This is effectively a playable version of Eduard Saladier's Korea map, ported to 1.12 by msrainynight, with partial focus trees and historical OOBs for both sides by Bananschke.

Additional features of the mod:

Events to represent key historical moments in the Korean War

A focus tree that will grow, allowing for alt history and other wacky stuff in the Korean War.

Technologies for Post WW2 - later this will encompass battle rifles, MBTs and fighter jets.

North Korea is exceptionally powerful, and the balance of power is very uneven. North Korea has 140 divisions, while the UN forces only have 60 divisions. Without reinforcements, the UN forces would surrender. Historically, after holding Pusan, the UN forces counterattacked up to the 38th parallel. In Hearts of Iron IV, although Pusan is not occupied, losing other provinces will trigger an automatic surrender in the game. It's a very good mod, but I hope it can be improved because the UN forces are basically unplayable.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MODS, Of course this game requires some repairs but i hope that it will get some updates

@Rydin the mod isn't done yet, while in comparison the operation isn't extremely influential, we will be sure to include it if work continues some day. My great-grandfather also served in the war for the ROK, so rest assured, the time will come one day!

Why is there no Jangsa-ri Landing Operation? It was an important fake operation for the Incheon Landing Operation, where student soldiers were sent as if to die. My great-grandfather on my mother's side participated in this operation. He was one of the few who survived, but eventually passed away in the war.
