Some Desperate Glory is a world war one mod made from the best assets I have been able to find in that setting. I have ported these assets over and received help from members of the community to fix vehicles and standardize inventories. Specifically from 'had to sensor my name again.' The credit for models belongs to others. Such as.

6 mostly complete maps: Argonne, Blanc Mont Ridge, Flanders Winter, Fort Douaumont Verdun, Isonzo, and my personal favorite the Somme. The included maps that are still very much a work in progress are: Belleau Wood, Hindenburg Line, Nuve Chapelle, Passionate, Gallipoli, and Road to Domascus.

Most tanks that played a prominent role in the war have been ported over along with many machine guns

There are 9 base factions to include :
France
Germany
Belgium
United Kingdom
United States
Russia
Austria-Hungary
Italy
Turkey
Also commonwealth nations like Scotland, Canada, India, and the ANZACS
The western front nations are pretty close to complete although the other nations still need work.



You will find the gasmask button in the attack actions! Take care at the description! Using it is different from normal commands. Also note your stamina lowers to 5% while using gasmasks, so don't sprint with them on anywhere without gas danger.





Missions will come later once there are more maps added to the mod

More vehicles and small nations such as Romania, Serbia, and Bulgaria will be added




At least the Finish DLC is required to play this mod. Many guns and ammo and map assets are dependent on that update to work. You can try it without it but it will probably crash.

* You do not have X, Y is not accurate

Yes we know that. A lot of stuff is not historically accurate because Cossack has gathered all ww1 content possible to raise the awareness of the necessity of its remembrance to GOH. So a lot of stuff is not accurate and is problematic. Regarding vehicles, importing/modelling them is a hell of a job, so it takes time. ANY HELP is extremely appreciated! Also help pointing out obvious historical issues is very much handy, but I already know about most of them. In Weltkrieg 1914-1918 which will be SDG's final successor such issues should be fixed and inexistent.

It is fine and ok! This is how the mod looks atm. Localizing is a hard job so if you wish to help, it would be amazing.
