EMD SD70MAC

Welcome to another new release, this time a new kitbash, being an update to a old model i made back in 2021, the EMD SD70MAC!

These Snack-sized MAC's were built by EMD in 1993, in response to GE's Dash 9s. It was EMD's first step into AC traction. With 4,000hp, and the 710 prime-mover, they were a massive step-up to there predecessors. 1,109 SD70MACs were built, with Burlington Northern being the largest buyer, with new units being built into the days of the BNSF. Today, a handful of MAC's are still being used by there original owners, although some have been retired for different factors. And the SD70MAC doesn't exist anymore on EMD's catalog, having been replaced by the SD70Ace due to the EPA regulations.
