Descripción
There are all kinds of scoundrels and, worse, Druchii in the sea these days. And what does the Asur fleet do about it? Nothing! Today the High Elf fleet says get off my lawn! Ocean. Whatever.

This pack introduces ship-building (hybrid horde) to the High Elves, in the form of one lord type+LL capable of it and their own contingents.

MAIN FEATURES:
- Sea Lord Aislinn: new LL as a faction leader for Cothique in IME.
- Sea Helm: new lord type for Lothern, Loremasters and Cothique, the navally-inclined factions. Both Aislinn and Sea Helms lead their own special autonomous 'horde' type army.
- New units include hybrid bow infantry, flying cavalry, Skycutters, Merwyrms and an Oceanid summon (this one available autonomously in Skirmish).
- The fleet should recruit when in ports, where it can couple local and horde recruitment. Only certain new and vanilla units can be recruited in the fleet.
- Lord and fleet come with 11 unique building chains, 10 unique innate skills (for 40 Influence), whole new red line. The fleet’s main squadron grows from a Hawkship patrol to Eagleship fleet to a mighty Dragonship. Sea Helms can be recruited at zero-influence too for a very basic flotilla that won’t grow.

- The fleet cannot support nearby armies like the black ark, cannot drastically reduce upkeep either, but is more versatile and comes with its own stances and army abilities. No, you cannot encamp.
- Sources: armybooks and Storm of Chaos supplement.

UNITS:
Includes a few new units that can only be recruited by the fleet:
- Sea Company: light marines with shields, bows and swords;
- Silver Helm Marines: a Dragonship’s aristocratic marine crew, with shields, bows and swords; *
- Lothern Sea Rangers: comparable to Shadow Warriors but with a focus on utility rather than firepower;
- Lothern Swiftfeather Riders: Seaguards riding Rocs and armed with somewhat-magic bows.
- Lothern Skycutters: flying missile chariots (thanks to ChaosRobie!)
- Merwyrms: melee landed dragon (ditto).
Note: fleet units are amazing at dealing with other hybrid units, but suffer against armour and big shields. Play wisely.
*this one in particular being a hybrid unit is important to reduce the stiff competition with Silverin and other melee infantry that Silver Helms have no business being better than.

- The Sea Helm is promoted to a Lord compared to tabletop for the mechanic to even remotely work.
- Yes, it works for AI too and presumably MP as well.

USE AND COMPATIBILITY
- Use with Mixer as required. No idea what happens without atm. Mixer not needed for skirmishes.
- Use in IME campaign. MP should be fine.
- Don't use with overhauls without submods, and don't ask me to make them[tw-modding.com]. If you are using an overhaul's submod, don't report balance issues to me.
- Supports TTC, Variant Selector and Zerg's hair mod.
- BEFORE you report issues, follow the troubleshooting guide[tw-modding.com]. Who am I kidding, you're not even reading this.

CREDITS:
- Skycutter and Merwyrm imported with specific permission from ChaosRobie's mods! Stats changed, does not replace the og mod in anything.
- Thanks to Marthenil for Aislinn’s sword model, which I kept despite rebuilding everything else on Aislinn.
- Thanks to Wolfremio for the help with the Sea Company animations.
- Thanks to Mixu for the unlocker’s support.
- Logo pic from Fantasy Flight Games, no claim intended.
- Frodo and supporting crowd for RPFM
- h3ro/Ole for the asset editor tool
- Marthenil for updating selfiehammer
- DrunkFlamingo and Lorghul for the frontend model viewer
- CA for mod support
- Matthew39 for some saucy pictures in gallery

KNOWN ISSUES:
- A lot of final features are workarounds to stuff that simply didn’t work because of current limitations; for example the zero-influence option was unwanted.
- Uh, will have to find a way to remove the circle aura around the fleet.
- The ammo swaps on stuff like the skycutter are based on duct-taped code. Yes, the Skycutter's ammo pool is fine, only visual bug.

FUTURE UPGRADES:
- Couple of campaign features after balance solidifies.
- Skycutter mount to show up properly in campaign map too.
- Un-placeholder some texts and the loading screen.
- Fix some odd bugs with stances.
- Please DO NOT ask me to expand the fleet to more factions, right now I just don't want to. Submod would take a minute.

@CorrinRoth CA literally already did that in one of their blog posts, they did a big list of all of the modders who made stuff that anticipated what CA made for Tides of Torment (the list mentions Cataph and this mod), and said;

"With Tides of Torment (and the accompanying free updates), we would like to take a moment to thank those in the modding community who have, in some way, implemented ideas that we are exploring with this next update.

Thanks again for the awesome work! We've tried to compile a list of names to give a shoutout to - apologies if we didn’t catch everyone!"

They are working off the same source material that modders are, if you actually compare the two different version of Aislyn to the art from the WFRP Sea of Claws book, you can see that they are both different takes on that original art (CAs helmet for Aislyn is more accurate to the art, while Cataphs wins the accuracy contest with the dagger)

Love this mod. I hope this mod continues to be supported; I think the starting position, the mechanics, and the faction are great. Perhaps another existing High Elf leader could be used as a replacement? It would be a shame if this mod were to disappear.

If you're open to suggestions, I personally would love to see CA!Aislinn have your Storm Dragon swapped in for his generic Star Dragon. I love the concept of storm dragons in fantasy and thought it was very thematic and helped distinguish him from Imrik.

Thank you for the hard work bud, feel GW should recognise modders like you that so clearly shape what they then present as 'their' work
