RE4 Remake Thompson M1A1 Custom (Suppressed SMG)

A modified American military sub-machinegun that will be available in the upcoming Separate Ways DLC in Resident Evil 4 Remake, is the Thompson M1A1, known as the "Chicago Sweeper" in-game. This version is heavy modified to resemble a Model 1928 variant of the Thompson, albeit the main receiver is still a Thompson M1A1. It's equipped with a Laser Sight by default.

The M1A1 is a simplified variant of the Thompson sub-machine gun family, designed specifically for military use. It fires .45 ACP rounds from an open-bolt and can only be loaded with stick magazines. The Thompson saw extensive use during WW2 by Allied Forces.
