My Druchii Blood Forge mod but yes-yes for great Skaven clans.(Just adds crafting for Skaven for anyone who wants a stand alone version to the FMC)



In the cold, dark depths of the Under-Empire, a sinister Skaven Warpsmith toiled tirelessly in his vast forge-factory. The sound of hammers striking metal echoed through the caverns as the Warpsmith, a twisted servant of the Horned Rat, crafted a weapon of unparalleled malevolence. The air crackled with the malefic energy of Skaven sorcery, causing the shadows to dance and shiver around him. The Warpsmith's beady red eyes gleamed with anticipation as his claws deftly manipulated the molten metals, imbuing the blade with the unholy blessings of his foul deity. With every strike, the sword's corrupting power grew, an instrument of ruin destined to bring untold devastation to the world above.




Like the scary elf thing version it-it contains all common, uncommon, rare items++(fleshed out some list-lists and we found something special deep below) from the WH2 base lists, and yes-yes fret not great warlord, crafted items from dilemmas too! Um, except Master Ikit's devices, he doesn't like to share-share(see note below*).

Also like the scary elf thing version, warp forges require food things and thralls to run-run, why? matter not, pay up or no warp things yes?



Known issues: Some of the long description text for few items gets cut off, apologies great warlord, *stares sideways at one of the many apparatus attached to the warp forge as it spews green smoke* no clue how to alter that-that in the UI yet, but I am aware of it.

To do:
Replace few of vanilla placeholder assets like the dwarf thing anvil/or vile runes at least

Notes:
- Check the collection I've made-made, it contains all the Forge crafting mods so far(Thx to Scaredy Nat for getting the WoC one up).
- Some item rarities have changed from WH2(probably some stats too), this mod is not altering that, so do not strike me brave warlord, I just pull them from the db tables as they are in vanilla.
- Unique/legendary items are not something ever likely to add to these forge mods, try out making few of my own lore inspired entries one day? sure if mood strikes me, but not the existing vanilla ones. Kinda cheapens them/robs certain factions/heroes of their uniqueness imo if can just craft any of those in the game and this was never intended to be a "craft anything" cheat mod...-mod.
- *Yes-yes this stance o' mine(note above, no uniques unless they're something new I've made) currently includes Ikit's items from the workshop...unlike unique stuff malus gets this is up for debate however as they are crafted not uniques...I don't want to rob Ikit of his cool thang as a faction but yeah...if enough clan rats in comments think otherwise, maybe budge on this one after taking a glance over the OPness of said items little closer.



Compats, Update Please!, SFO, Etc?

Just some edits/additions to db tables, and some new folders for Skaven UI skins(might take a stab at fully customising those assets in future); should be fine with most things/future game updates.

Can I use this for my mod, or as a template for another faction?
It's a sure thing you can. One request though: If you figure out anything with UI issue on those boxes(ie getting them to resize) before I do, let me know please :D

Hello! Just a preliminary bug report: With this mod enabled, the ancillaries from Ikit's workshop are unlocked normally, but are restricted to the character categories of "Lord" or "Gunnery Warlock." None of my lords seem to satisfy this requirement, even Ikit himself. Disabling this mod resolves this issue. I have not yet tested with only this mod enabled. Of course, let me know if you believe this to be a mod conflict!

Any submod for Clan Ferrik in the Skaven Clans mod? They already have a forge mechanic which overlaps with this one.

When leveling up items in Ikit's Workshop, the rewards don't unlock properly, requiring up to double the purchases before stuff becomes unlocked, EG the "fire bullets" banner requires 4 purchases. Further, the "resource" of Warpstone in the Forge actually takes from the Food supply, allowing Ikit to instantly purchase a bunch of magic goods as soon as the game starts.

Is this intended?
