*NOTICE* All of my screenshots are taken with my certified potato pc™.
This means (at least in theory) that my custom units will look better on your high-end machine (if you do have one).
So don't be scared off by my horrible screenshots, thanks.

*NOTICEX2* All of these custom models are LOD 0 only.
This means that (aside from the units' impostor models generated at long distances) these custom units will not lose details when zooming out.
This may result in a minor or moderate impact on your FPS.

Please notice that the units' stats screenshot was taken with the unit size setting set to large, so expect more HP if you are playing on Ultra.

This mod adds the following units for WoC (Warriors of Chaos), Daemons of Chaos [This does NOT include the monogod factions which will not get these units at all] and Chaos Dwarfs respectively:
-Chaos Soul Grinder
-Chaos Soul Grinder (Cannon)
-Soul Destroyers of Gorgoth [ROR unit unlockable at level 25 through the ROR pool.]

You'll find them through the Dark Fortress' main large monsters building chain for WoC [need the Local Recruitment mod for WoC.], through the Obelisk building chains for Daemons of Chaos and through the War Machines building chain for Chaos Dwarfs.

Ok, presentation over: let's dive into the technical stuff!

*COMPATIBILITY*

As far as I know this mod works with pretty much everything that do not mess too much with vanilla units.
Should be usable with an ongoing campaign but in my opinion You should not take any chances and use this mod on a brand new campaign to avoid any problems.

*KNOWN ISSUES*
-The Chaos Soul Grinder is using the Slaanesh's Soul Grinder animations, which means that he's also using all of the VFX attached to said animation (ex. pink smoke).
-The Chaos Soul Grinder (Cannon) and Soul Destroyers of Gorgoth are using the Nurgle's Soul Grinder animations, which means that they are also using all of the VFX attached to said animation (ex. leaking green stuff, vomit ecc.).
-Some clipping here and there
-If you are experiencing weird glowing effects on the units then please use this mod https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2922534576 until CA officially fixes that issue.
-Missing textures with certain graphic settings/while looking from certain angles: LOD issues/missing textures issues can be caused by low settings, LOD mods, Immortal Empires bugs and/or even some faulty version of H3ro asset editor.
Translated= I generally can't do anything about that.
If you are experiencing low poly models+missing textures there isn't a common solution that works for everyone, but I managed to fix that by doing the following:
-Disable Sharpening
-Enable FXAA
-Enable Unlimited video memory

*UPDATES POLICY*

Let me be straight with you...when the mod status change from updated to outdated....if you start to spam in the comment section things like "update pls, OMG UPDATE, can we have an update my good sir?, UpDaTe!1!1!1" and similar stuff....know that https://media.giphy.com/media/e3URFlLQywEPC/giphy.gif


...But jokes aside: please don't do that.
When it becomes necessary, and when I can, I will update my stuff, do not worry.

*QA*

-"Lord's Red line?Tech buffs?"
I gave them generic Chaos beast and monster unit sets, so they should get buffs related to those sets.

-"SFO/Radious ecc. ?"
As a matter of fact I'm officially retired from SFO/Overhaul related mods.
As always: If you already have previous experience in SFO submodding feel free to make an SFO version out of any of my mods that are currently missing one, I will link your submods if you provide me with a link.

-"Your mods are ugly and janky, why? just why?"
Here's a friendly reminder: I'm just an amateur and nothing more.
If you want beautiful stuff with no jank then stick with CA and/or professional modders and avoid my mods, simple as that really.

No, making a custom unit too similar to a Defiler from 40k would be against the TOS.
Modders CANNOT under any circumstances post models that are carbon copies or way too similar to other GW's models from brands like 40K, AOS and (to some extent) even TOW or from other popular brands like LOTR and such.
That said I'm currently in no mood for modding due to irl stuff I'm dealing with and also due to the fact that I'm still waiting for the release of Asset Editor 0.63 which should fix a lot of problems that are plaguing the current release.
Also, making a fully functional Defiler is way beyond my skills anyway.

if you cant get arround making the arms fit the body with melee animations you could try having it be a highly mobile artillery canon of sorts, with only legs attacks

Just double checked now with DAE:
-The ROR unit is located in the ROR pool as it should be.
-The normal units are tied to the Obelisk building chains (tier V) for each Chaos God, you can see the unit cards in the building browser.
Unless you are experiencing problems recruiting these units after building a tier V Obelisk I would be inclined to say that the mod is working as intended.
In the case that you are actually reporting this issue after having actually built a tier V Obelisk then the only thing I can do is to try to replicate the issue myself to confirm if there is actually an issue with Daniel or not.
There is always the possibility that you have some other mod causing issues but I don't think that there are many DAE related mods that modify the vanilla building chains or screw with custom units recruitment.

Jul 7 Update:
-Removed WoC version of this unit from the Warband system
-Added the new Local Recruitment mod for WoC as new mod requirement (optional, only needed for recruiting this custom unit with WoC in campaign)

Sorry for the possible trouble generated by this update but I'll rather have my custom WoC units recruited with this method instead of cluttering the vanilla Warband System.

It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that I will not be updating any of my mods in time for the Chorfs update because my potato PC has finally left me after years of honoured service.
I have already found a replacement, but since I still need to know the shipment data and because of other shenanigans going on, I can't give you an exact ETA on when I'll be back.
You have my full permission to take and update any of my mods, but keep in my mind that I'll be back eventually and I'm going to update the OG ones.
Now I know that some of you might want to leave a comment to cheer me up or ask me some questions but please DO NOT do that and keep the comment section clean so that people can read this comment and understand why I'm not updating my stuff.
Thanks for all the support and see you again when my new rig arrives.
