Specials

Neutral Special - Fireball Toss

Mario throws a fireball at his enemies. Up to two can be on-screen at a given time.

Side Special - Long Jump, Dive, and Roll

This move changes properties depending on where you are- in the air, Mario will dive! On the ground, Mario will long jump. Holding the button while landing allows you to roll, opening up opportunities for more followups.

Up Special - Super Jump Punch

Mario leaps high into the sky, dealing damage as he rises. On the way down, Mario can bounce off of his opponents and continue attacking!

Down Special - Handstand Flip

One, two, three! Mario performs one flip after another with good timing. The first two flips are spikes with increasing power, and the final flip is a powerful somersault!

After playing this Mario for so long and getting to understand his kit. This is the most fantastic take on Mario being in a platform fighter I've ever played, I actually feel like it's also overall effected how I play Mario in other games that focus on his acrobatics as well.

He also makes a fantastic Tag-Team with Bar-Kun's Sonic, and they're actually really similar in both game play and animation quality, which I'd say kind of makes them fit even better as a duo. I recommend trying them both out in a 2v2.

I'm a huge fan of Mario, and I love everything about the Mario Brothers, I think I can say this with confidence that the people that worked on this delivered.

This is the most Mario I've ever played. Incredibly well designed, great balanced. My friend combo'd me with Mario and I was just smiling like an idiot because how *fun* it looked. Out of the fucking park, you guys.:aos2saki:
