Trajann's Chosen Bloodletters

Note: This mod is included in my Khorne Compilation. If you are subscribed to that mod then you don't need to be subscribed to this one.

This mod adds a new unit (plus an RoR) to Skarbrand, Valkia, the undivided Chaos lords, and the Daemon Prince.

The basic premise for these guys is being the ultimate infantry unit for Khorne. Nothing else really comes close to them in terms of pure combat potential. They pay for this (literally) by being very expensive, as well as being an elite unit, so they can be easily overwhelmed if not supported. These guys aren't designed to be alone however, but rather to work with the rest of your army, giving out a pretty sweet combat buff to nearby allies so long as they are in combat. Basically, charge them into the front lines with your scariest units, and so long as they remain together, the blood god should be pleased.

Now if you're looking for something a bit more spicy, there is a Regiment of Renown variant. With blackened armour and a unique ability, these guys are the elite of the elite. They have a modified hellblade ability that gives higher bonuses, unlocks quicker, and imbues them with armour sundering attacks. This makes these guys absolutely terrifying in melee as they can just cleave through whatever comes their way.

For Skarbrand and Daniel, the base unit is unlocked via normal recruitment from buildings. For the WoC, an additional mod is required to enable local recruitment. Once it has been enabled, the unit should appear in buildings within Dark Fortresses. If you have no intent to play the WoC, the additional mod can be disabled. The RoR is unlocked via standard means for all factions. Naturally, these guys benefit from Bloodletter tech.
