Ages Reformed drastically improves the user experience and enjoyment of pursuing age objectives and acquiring new age abilities. I'm proud to present a nearly doubled list of available abilities with stacking permanent buffs based on which ability you choose, achievable objectives that each give an automated and relevant bonus, and all presented in an enlarged and overhauled user interface with high quality custom art and no scroll bars!

Age abilities have been expanded from 11 partially nation-locked abilities per age to 18 carefully considered abilities per age which are fully available to all nations. Many abilities provide permanent sensible bonuses for the rest of the game, and unlock new strengthened bonuses when stacked together. An example of this is getting +1 Diplomat automatically and permanently when you have had a diplomatic ability in two of the previous ages. Many such combinations exist.

Tailor your nation's abilities throughout history, knowing that the changes you make in the Age of Discovery will have a positive impact on your people's descendants in the Age of Revolutions!

In addition, acquiring an ability in one age and unlocking it again in a later age, will return some splendor.

Age objectives have been moved around, removed, replaced, and carefully considered for the time period. Each age features 1 additional objective and some objectives are region and/or context specific. Meaning irrelevant or impossible to achieve objectives won't appear for your nation. In addition, some objectives have had their difficulty increased to prevent a player from easily acquiring all age abilities decades prior to the next age.

Fulfilling age objectives also gives your nation a relevant bonus, such as automatically having less unrest for fulfilling the objective to have 100% Religious Unity in the Age of Reformation. These objective bonuses are automatically applied or removed whenever an objective is fulfilled or lost and you don't need to spend splendor on an ability to acquire them!

Enjoy all of the new features of this mod package while experiencing the visual fidelity of high quality custom art from a professional 2D artist and UI designer. Much of the art is scaled DOWN from large crisp images to fit in their frames. The improvements to the UI will scale up or down with your preferred gui scale settings and this mod doesn't require the game to be permanently set in a certain scale.

Localization files have been included for English, French, Spanish, and German, but all are copies of English.

This mod was originally inspired and based on Ages and Splendor Expanded, but quickly replaced basically everything in that mod, taking on a life of its own. Shout out and thanks to Melvasul and the ASE mod team, especially LimonenZitrone who gave me a lot of advice when I first began modding and continues to do so.
