描述
This mod adds icons to traits and backstories on the pawn bio tab.
Also makes capitalization of trait labels of mods consistent with vanilla (all lower-case except the first letter). In 1.5-1.6 It can optionally display the icon of the originating mod/dlc for both traits and backstories.

Backstory icons are based on: Meditation Focus (A tree) -> Forced Traits (Same as trait) -> Culture Tags (using the ideology culture icons) -> Is part of a solid bio (Marked as a single star)

Also makes What's That Mod Apply to traits too if it is active.

[10/10] As a fall-back, if the mod is not supported by it's own icons [SYR] Trait Value or RimTraits - Vanilla Trait Colors will be used to assign an icon instead. You may disable this feature by removing the "syrchalis.traitvalue" and "sierra.rt.vanillatraitcolors" folders.

Notes for modders:
Other mods can add their own by putting the icons on the correct path, a button on the config menu generates the list of missing trait icons and the path the icons must be in.
If a trait does not have an icon, it will try to use the icon named "Default" on the source mod's folder.
If [SYR] Trait Value is active, any mod without icons that has Trait Value support will use the icon named after its category: "Best trait", "Very good trait", "Good trait", "Neutral trait", "Bad trait", "Very bad trait", "Worst trait"; prioritizing any instance in the folder corresponding to the source mod packageId.
RimTraits - Vanilla Trait Colors has similar support: the name is the hex color used in the label.
Other mods that change trait colors like Trait Rarity Colors will be compatible but will not have their own icons.
Any mod with a "Default" icon will use it for all of their icons which do not have their own, this allows for one icon to represent the whole mod, this is used for the traits of some of them. In 1.5-1.6, if no icon is specified the mod's icon will be used.

Hey! it is possible to patch-out icons from a Trait, through xml?

Friend, I hope to make my mod [ More Choices at Growth Tiers ] compatible with yours [ Trait and Backstory Icons ] in Dialog_GrowthMomentChoices, so that it can display the icons from your mod. This issue is rather tricky, and there isn’t an easy solution.

not sure whats causing this, and this worked before, i have not added any extra mods but randomly the icons for backstories and traits simply dont appear? the game works fine but i really enjoy the icons, it may be that another mod that adds traits isnt supported? but it worked before as it just had the mod icon next to it, not sure what is causing this

No, according to their page and my own memory that wasn't the case, it changed in my colony midgame. Thanks for the answer, I'll investigate!

@Turambar, no, all this mod changes is the UI, VPE might be responsable, i think with VPE Artistic must be unlocked separately

I recently added this mod, and I also noticed all new pawns never have the Artistic meditation focus (I use VPE), even though they should. Other foci are granted correctly.

Could this be caused by this mod?

- Settings Preview now shows backstories.
- Settings Preview while in-game uses full tool tip.
- Settings Preview tool tip shows special information on certain traits and icons, specifically revealing "name in game" information and traits added.
- Traits and backstories with zero commonality are coloured golden yellow, unless coloured in genetic blue or creep joiner anomaly green, this means modded traits given exclusivelly by special events are highlighted.
- Biotech only: aptitude (skill offset) gene icons now used for "name in game" backstories with no other icon.
- Biotech only: traits with no icon but corresponding gene now use their gene's icon, as a side-effect, any mod that adds genes that correspond to traits is automatically supported.
- Royalty only: backstories that provide meditation focus are now coloured in meditative green.
