Opis
Adds a few unique materials. There is photonic metamaterial which makes everything made of it look like a shadow; Aerogel makes everything 10 lighter, great for travelling; and some other stuff.

List of stuff
  • Aerogel - objects made from it will be 10 times lighter, good for bringing heavy stuff on caravans. Sharp weapons attack 2 times faster but with 2 times less damage per hit.
  • Aerographene - objects will be 100 times ligher. Sharp weapons attack 4 times faster but with 4 times less damage per hit.
  • Nitinol - buildings made from it should be 10 times faster to repair.
  • Photonic metamaterial - has a very unique appearance, all buildings and objects made from it will look like shadows of themselves. Check screenshots! This was done by setting stuffProps color to RGBA(0,0,0,0.5)
  • Ultrablack metamaterial - all objects will appear completely pitch black.

Gameplay
  • Three research projects - aerogel, aerographene and metamaterials;
  • 25 aerogel is made from 25 stone blocks, 25 chemfuel and 1 neutroamine;
  • 25 aerographene is made from 35 stone blocks, 35 chemfuel and 2 neutroamine
  • 25 nitinol is made by smelting 15 plasteel with 100 silver.
  • 75 "Shadow" metamaterial can be made from 20 gold and 150 silver. Everything made from it will always have 30 beauty.
  • 75 ultrablack metamaterial is made from 75 steel, 25 chemfuel and 1 neutroamine. It gives 0.3x but +10 beauty.

@Rinem I don't think there is an easy way to give mood buffs based on cloth material, but I might make custom metamaterial apparels at some point, for nudists and for camouflage.

@test Can you code "Photonic metamaterial" the way that clothes that made of it will give mood buffs to colonist with nudist trait when its on him. Alike buffs to piromaniac wearing molotov koktail

I have a suggestion;

Prosthetics made of that light material. as well as some sort of skin replacment, which causes the pawn to become much harder to see, making them less likley to be shot!

@Atmey if you use the more holograms mod, you can make completely invisible clothing.

@DJ_Indominus yep, and there is a newer material that absorbs even 10 times more light than vantablack. I didn't find a name so just called it ultrablack in the mod

There is a real material called "Vantablack" that actually makes it pitch black https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vantablack

@Atmey it doesn't work for apparel unfortunately. It will just be pitch black.
