A sandbox map based on the city of Kyoto, Japan.

I was inspired by classic maps like gm_akiba, gm_tokyo, and gm_wangan. The map features some enterable buildings and many, many, Japan-style alleys and sidestreets. My goal was to make something like a Japan-themed bigcity style city map that's useful for any generic city-based shenanigans. Goes great with parkour mods: many rooftops were designed with parkour in mind.

Included are many of Kyoto's most famous landmarks such as Kyoto Tower Hotel, Kyoto Station, Kamogawa River, and the majestic Heian Shrine. The locations and scales of these are approximate as I aimed for a Tony Hawk style rendition of the city that combines many local landmarks into one small area.

I love how this map is so Tony Hawk-esque it just looks like a liminal brutalist hellscape, filled with my favorite landmarks such as gray building, gray building, gray building, gray building

@NextKuromeThe76Soldier they said they renditioned the city for a tony hawk style: essentially it's those games (being skateboarding games) they allowed for more movement and tricks, and they suggest for usage of a parkour mod!

The structure of the map is good, excellent skybox. The only thing missing is the decorations. I don't know why, but I don't have ligth_environment on the map. In any case, I hope that this is not the final version of the map and I hope that it will be improved in the future. Good luck
