Kugelraumer Shipset

描述
The Kugelraumer-Shipset adds starships and stations inspired by Perry Rhodan to Stellaris. These iconic starships have been featured on book covers and technical drawings for sixty years. Now they are brought to life in-game!

Workshop Version 3, adding the PRAETORIA Juggernaut and adding some texture & effects fixes.

A complete set of modular retro-futuristic designs

The designs featured in this mod are no 1:1 recreations of canonized ships and structures, but rather interpretations adapted for a cohesive style and the requirements of the game. All models are custom made for the mod and
sectioned . You can combine different modules for a wide variety of visual and functional designs.

> Science, construction, transport, and colony ships
> Science & Mining stations
> Outposts, Starbases, etc...

Roadmap

I'm keeping an eye on the comments here and collect issues, adjustments, and suggestions here.

No promises here, but I'll look into it!

This version is still a work in progress, so bugs and future updates to assets and models are to be expected.

Possible bug here. I booted up my game in 4.1 and found these ships, as well as the Astro Fleet, are classified as biological ships. This wouldn't be a problem if I had that dlc, just a cosmetic change, but I don't. Using these ship sets without the new Bio DLC means I don't get access to any ship technologies, and am unable to build any ships other than science or construct/colony.

I haven't checked your other mods, but I thought I'd bring this up.

The shipset looks amazing but the engines weird me out. Would it be hard to make and maintain a version that has the model mount points and engine plumes tilted by 90 degrees?

For some reason I just cant build any combat ships at all, and all research options for them are just gone

This is my all time favorite ship set. An update to 4.0 would be brilliant!

With Stellaris 4.0 "Phoenix" this shipset ist categorized as "biological". You should have a look into that, since it leads to not having any ships at the beginning of a new game.

It would be so amazing if this shipset came with compability for Strongholds & Headquarters Space Stations. Other than that it is everything I wanted, thank you so much!
