Spirit of Tasmania

This pack contains recreations of the passenger ship Spirit of Tasmania I and Spirit of Tasmania II, both constructed in 1998 and the current fleet operating between Port Melbourne, Victoria and Devonport, Tasmania, ferrying people and their vehicles across the Bass Strait. It also contains a third, unbranded version of the ship (retaining the company's ship graphic logo but no lettering).

These ships each have a capacity for 1,400 passengers and travel at the default speed of Passenger Ships. Use Advanced Vehicle Options or Load Order Mod to enable/disable which ones you want to appear and other details. They do not use colour variations.

All three boats (and all other versions of them on the workshop - i.e. floating and static) make use of the same texture set, and (with the exception of the unbranded), the same LOD texture set, and the same LOD mesh. With Loading Screen mod you should be looking at around 7MB RAM use total, even if you subscribe to all three items.

Due to strangeness I experienced with the AI spawning and despawning the ship and not functioning properly, I have scaled these from 1:1 to 0.92:1 scale. The difference is very slight.
