Enhance your log experience.
Better Log provides various tweaks, options and additions to make modding and troubleshooting a more pleasant adventure.

In detail this mod provides:

Multiple choices for new open log buttons



Colors and filters for log messages

These replace the trace big, medium and small buttons. To resize the panel at the bottom, drag the grey bar instead.

Options to disable or adjust log limits,
Options to entirely mute certain types of messages,
And more


Compatible with all mods, licensed under MPL-2.0 [tldrlegal.com]

Is there any guide for troubleshooting mods using the log? i always have trouble.

Just got this error on 1.6 so I reduced the mod list to bare minmum as you can see and it still happens. So 1.6 has issues right now.

Honestly, the thing I'm missing most right now as I'm debugging 1.6 mods for my personal use and messing with settings and such is the ability to turn off zalgo-text for untranslated strings. I didn't realize how annoying that gets when you're configuring something in dev mode that was just never properly translated and ALL THE TEXT is randomly annoying to read.

@Hades the King The current version of the mod wouldn't directly affect that, no. Max messages limit in the menu only modifies the limit to stop writing to the log file at. The ingame window has a separate untouched limit of 200 messages to scroll up through. You can block white log messages to have them fully excluded and not count to any of those values however

Can this show me all my logs upon startup. I think im gettin red errors that open my dev log but i cant see it because theres so many other non red error logs that it gets pushed up and away
