Unofficial Patches for Kenshi

Description
The Unofficial Patches for Kenshi (UPK) is a compilation of published bugfixes and several QoL improvements into one mod that's easy to download and manage. The changes incorporated here either are my own, or were provided with permission from the original mod authors. Please check the Credits[www.nexusmods.com] for the names and links to what mods have been incorporated with author's permission and go give them a thumbs-up (here on Steam) or endorsement (on Nexus)! Some changes include the following:

The Unofficial Kenshi Patch
Slopeless (Nexus Version)[www.nexusmods.com]
Fixes provided by SCARaw (i.e. Calm Ambient Sound[www.nexusmods.com], Crab Tournament FIX[www.nexusmods.com], Limbs Icons Fix[www.nexusmods.com])
Fixes provided by Shidan (i.e. Shidan's Tweaks & Fixes [Fixes only])
GE0DZ's Tweaks[www.nexusmods.com] (my own contributions)
Grammar Paladin - Reupload (EN module only)
And much more...

If you want a complete breakdown of what's been changed, please read the Full Changelog[www.nexusmods.com] for more info. For assistance with any issues that may arise with using the UPK, please read the Compatibility and Troubleshooting[www.nexusmods.com] guide. IMPORTANT
As of Version 3.3 of the Unofficial Patches for Kenshi, the UPK has been split into two mods. Both mods work independently of each other, though in the future the EN module may require the Main module as a dependency:

Unofficial Patches for Kenshi (Main module, all bugfixes and Qol improvements, as well as grammar changes related to new items, research, etc.)
Unofficial Patches for Kenshi EN (English module, all vanilla grammar corrections to dialogue, names, descriptions, etc.)

The reason for this is because of how many grammar changes were incorporated with Grammar Paladin. Kenshi's player base ranges across the world, and I felt uncomfortable making changes that might result in non-English speaking players being unable to understand numerous dialogue changes. Modding at the end of the day is about trying to keep things new and fun for everyone, and I want to avoid doing something that could massively infringe on that goal. Therefore, going forward this is how the UPK will be structured:

Included in both modules
Any Dialogue changes that address bugs (i.e. Honest Big Grim - Quest Fix, Tinfist's WANTED poster reward and Skeleton repair bed cost typos)
All Dialogue Condition changes
All Dialogue Effect changes
All Dialogue trigger changes
Removed Dialogue changes
Removed Dialogue Condition changes
Removed Dialogue Effect changes
Removed Dialogue trigger changes
All current Dialogue Package changes
All current New Dialogue changes (i.e. Fixed Vanilla Raids and Recruit Ray by freeing him[www.nexusmods.com])

Included in UPK EN
Vanilla Dialogue grammar corrections
All Word Swap changes (including new word swaps such as any of the OPENER word swaps)
Vanilla Name corrections
Vanilla Description grammar corrections

Not included in UPK EN
New Items (i.e. Fishsticks, no way to split off item names/descriptions)
New Names (i.e. Composite Runners + Strings Fix, too reliant on core mod changes to split off on its own)
New Descriptions (i.e. Composite Runners + Strings Fix)

Version 3.6.3 has been released. Fixed the issue with the Bread Oven, got the one in Ark fixed finally, and slowly putting older changes made back into the main UPK module. Also made a few additional changes that have been on the backburner for a while. Enjoy!

Also I think I figured out the problem with the Bread Oven in Ark. When I was importing the data into the UPK, it was being thrown in with the main file and all the other fixes instead of interiors.level. What surprised me was how many other mods I've imported, yet I only had two interior changes prior to this. Might need to double check to make sure the FCS didn't miss something from another mod I've imported in the past. Fortunately since most of the changes I've made have been to exterior locations I think we're good.

Yeah that sounds like best option

@Melooo After messing around in the FCS a bit. I've figured out that while I can easily make a patch to remove nodes, I can't make one to restore ones that have been deleted by another mod easily when that mod is a master file. There may be a workaround I don't know about, which if there is I would love to see how it's done. For now though, I'll go with your original recommendation for the Bread Oven and leave the nodes alone. I'm still going to release a patch for the Corpse Furnace as that fix was simply adding a node that previously was missing. This way Forgotten Buildings and other mods that change the Corpse Furnace should be compatible.
GE0  [author] 15 hours ago
Looks like they fix the exact same issue. The only differences are the changes made to the building parts assigned to the Corpse Furnace. What I'll do is I'll make a compatibility patch that reverts all node changes from the UPK in the event other mods also change nodes. I think that's the best option.
GE0  [author] 15 hours ago
Looks like Forgotten Buildings does add a node as well to the Corpse Furnace. I'll have to decide what to do. It should be possible to fix with a compatibility patch if I have to.
GE0  [author] 15 hours ago
@Melooo Gotcha, the only issue I see currently then is the Corpse Furnace adds a node. Not sure if any of the other mods like Better Building System or Forgotten Buildings do the same. Otherwise I'll just revert the node changes made to the Bread Oven.

Ah my bad, I hadn't realized that nodes edits didn't get saved when the nodes are loaded from a dependency, be it another mod or original game data :/
So we're stuck to new nodes then.

Worse still, any other mod lower in the list that makes any edit (even if not related to nodes) on the building like for example "Better Building System" or "Forgotten Buildings", will add back the original nodes.

UPK would have to be the last mod to be loaded and I guess that won't happen unless this is the only mod a player has.

My suggestion would be to leave the original nodes as is, they're not broken TBH, the edit was a matter of preference of FonAnoN IIRC.

@Melooo I'll have to look into modifying coordinates. I know how to change parts but nodes are a bit outside my wheel house atm.
Melooo Dec 8 @ 2:40pm
would suggest to keep original "Bread Oven" nodes IDs but with the fix updated coordinates instead of adding new ones.

Why? beacause if another modder decides to make changes on the original nodes and is unaware of UPK changes, it will result in "Bread Oven" having 6 nodes instead of the 3 meant to be.
