MW5 Compatibility Mod

This mod does nothing on its own, it is a toolset for other modders to add settings and keybinds. The mod has been around for a long time but required a rewrite to properly work with Steam workshop mods due to how the file structures are.

If you are a modder and would like to use it, download the source and place it in your content directory:

After version 2.5, all settings are stored in a blueprint file so you no longer need to deal with text files.

There is no update to do, the only change they made that will have any affect is the Mods screen, they fixed the bug for the Gamepad not moving to the next item when you hit down. I will be posting that fix soon.

Pushed the update to make sure it was the same as nexus

Runs pretty well on the original Ally (Z1 Extreme), only issue is the texture loading when a new particle effect plays. After the first effect plays, it loads the next fine.

That's great to hear.

How does MW5 perform on the ally by the way? I got an Ally X last week and I have yet to give it a go (And mod it with YAML).

I'll get both versions updated at the same time soon, I'm making an update to get the options to work with a gamepad since I use MW5 on my steamdeck and Ally

I was confused because the last update here on steam was in October 2023, and the last update on nexusmods was in June this year.

both versions should be the same, I think I forgot to update the version number on one of them though.

what version is currently on steam? i'm looking at the VR mod for MW5, and it states that it needs 5.1 at the very least to properly run the mod.

Are we better off using the nexusmods version in general or?
