CSX GP15-1 Pack (YN2)

(Requires Space's GP15-1 model).

The EMD GP15-1 is a Bo-Bo diesel electric locomotive, of which 310 examples were built between 1976 and 1982. They were intended to provide an alternative to rebuilds of older road switcher locomotives, and throughout their service lives the GP15-1s have been used primarily in shunting work or light mainline runs.

This pack includes four GP15-1s in CSX YN2 livery. They were all built in 1979, and are all ex-ConRail engines:

1534 ~ formerly CR 1616
1535 ~ formerly CR 1617
1536 ~ formerly CR 1618
1537 ~ formerly CR 1620

Incidentally all four of these engines have since lost their YN2 colours in favour of YN3; having been repainted between 2009 and 2013. If my research is correct, CSX still has some GP15-1s in active service today. Incidentally one of them is 1535, which was leased to the Walking Horse & Eastern Shortline in 2020.
