Optimisation examples :

Each animal has its own category no more leathers for each individual animal
Leather_Bird
Leather_Light
Leather_Plain
Leather_Lizard
Leather_Heavy
Leather_Human
Leather_Legend
Leather_Chittin
Leather_Scale

This is for Vanillla

Mods? Category set according to their size :

Leather_Light
Leather_Plain
Leather_Heavy
Leather_Legend

Faq:
-load order : should be loaded after all animal mods you have
-Is it compatible with X animal mod? yes it should work with all animal mods.
-Saw x leather not being optimised some will remain that way due to recipe requirements and ensure compatibility .


Conflicts :

-Simple chains Leather ( it changes leather production interfering )
-Medieval Overhaul ( erases all leather defs )

i cant seem to manually set legend leather or heavy leather. trying to reduce my leather types down more

Does this mod do nothing by default (i.e. you have to manually configure all the changes yourself)? I'm not seeing any optimisation/changes at all - every animal still has their own leather/fur (or are in a rather narrow category, of which there are many).

Not complaining if this is the case, but I could've sworn it used to do some config automatically, and the description seems to imply this is the case.

I changed Alpha Trumbo to legendary leather in the settings. However, it comes out as thick leather in the existing Alpha Trumbo settings. Does the change in the settings apply to the new Alpha Trumbo?

You can do that in settings find the alpha thrumbo and change

I had some success changing the leather types by clicking reset first, selecting the leather type and then clicking close.
