DRM Scorpions

Beskrivning
This mod adds in a set of gamemodes that spawn in the pink scorpions that are used as one of the game's anti-piracy measures. For reference, if you pirate the game, these things will hound you throughout the entire game. They are nigh invulnerable and very fast. This mod essentially lets you encounter them without having to pirate the game (and without all the other anti-piracy measures being an issue).

There are some notable differences from how the original scorpions worked:
-They will shoot the same amount of bullets per volley in all difficulties
-Their reaction time is increased
-Scorpion placements and numbers will likely be different from the actual pirated game; I kind of had to guess where they were placed. I also took a few liberties with some Scorpion spawns to enhance their effectiveness.

As for the gamemodes themselves, currently, only multiplayer versions are availible. I'll add Single Player versions later when the current version of the game properly supports them. Beyond that, here are the gamemodes availible:

Cooperative:
-DRM (Based on Classic Co-op; no "Respawn in Place")
-DRM Lite (Based on DRM; Fewer Scorpions; 1-Player only)
-DRM Survival (Based on Team Survival)

Additionally, I've added the ability to enable these Scorpions in the Single-Player Campaign. This is essentially the "pure" DRM Scorpion experience, with only having one life, but being able to save and load. That said, this is only for people with a near-infinite tolerance for pain and/or reloading saves forever. For this reason, this is disabled by default... but you can enable it with this console command:

globals.DRMSP(1)

And when you want to disable it, use this:

globals.DRMSP(0)

Be sure you disable it once you're done with it, because it will persist between sessions if you don't!

This mod does support user-made maps, though the automatic Scorpion placement may not work well for some maps. As well, the Scorpions function best when the map actually has a Navigation mesh... which is sadly not the case for the majority of user-made maps.

Special thanks to Croteam for giving me some amount of information about the things (such as parameters). They weren't able to tell me a lot (since this is the game's DRM we're talking about), but I do appreciate what they were able to tell me

Notes:
-CAUTION: If you make any saves in Single-Player with the Scorpions enabled, you will *need* to still have the mod installed in order to load those saves.
-Saving will take a bit longer with Single-Player Scorpions enabled

Changelog:
V1.3
-Added a console command to enable/disable the Scorpions in single-player. This is disabled by default, since it makes the game near unplayable. Only for the truly clever and/or masochistic.

V1.2
-Fixed Scorps on Guardian of Time so that they don't get stuck at a certain point
-Respawn Invulnerability is now forced at 1 second
-Temporarily added "DRM Lite" as a Cooperative gamemode. By comparison to normal DRM, it has about half to two-thirds less scorpions per level. However, this gamemode is intended for only a single player, and as such, is limited to 1 player. I'll be moving this to Single Player when custom Single Player gamemodes are fixed in the stable release of the game.

V1.1
-Added a few more Scorpions to The Silent Riddler
-Modified the spawning method for DRM Survival so that it takes multiple players into account when determining when to start spawning them
-The Scorpions will now spawn at consistant times in DRM Survival
-The DRM Survival gamemode will no longer attempt to write to the leaderboards (Moddable mode doesn't even have leaderboards)

Update: Added the ability to have the Scorpions appear in the Single-Player Campaign, just like the original DRM. Check the description for more information.

I was thinking of doing this with a custom gamemode, but custom Single-Player gamemodes still don't work... and even if they did, they wouldn't support saving and loading.

DRM = Digital Rights Management. It generally means copy-protection that's intended to prevent and/or deter the act of piracy.

Update: Temporarily added "DRM Lite" as a Cooperative gamemode (It's intended for Single Player, but custom SP gamemodes don't work yet). It has about half to two-thirds less scorpions per level. It might still need some tweaks to scorp counts, but yeah.
