The Last Augustus

A total conversion mod for Imperator: Rome that brings the game into the early Middle Ages!
The mod starts in 527 AD, marking the crowning of Justinian I and the breakup of Clovis' Frankish Kingdom.
Navigate the transition from Antiquity to the Middle Ages, shaping the fate of crumbling empires and rising new kingdoms.

🛠 Troubleshooting:
If the mod crashes, go to the Imperator folder and delete everything except the save games and mod folders. This is located at:

the first mission tree of the romans "cultural matters" doens't work: when i select of the missions it spawns the event for the rebuilding of antiochia, takes 250 gold, stops without going on qith the mission and instantly going back with "cultural matters" being the only custom tree available

blatic people when they vanish from existance... I get that there is no nation cuz there is no history about it, but the culture and religion is manually changed, even tho they are one of the oldest surviving languagues / cultures, and could have been easily just left around close to the vanilla borders.. tho I guess only close to the baltic sea mostly

Cool mod but it really sucks this was at the point in time where literally all the diversity in Europe was destroyed by Germanic tribes and Romanization. Would've been cool to see Continental Celtic, Illyrian, Dacian, etc minority groups in certain places
