This train is a fictional, thought up maglev train, following the Frecciarossia, and the L0 series looks.

This train comes in a lot of user configurable combinations. You can add or remove certain classes, make the train longer or shorter; you can do pretty much all that your heart desires.

I've based the classes on what they use irl on the ETR1000:
Executive (very luxurious, takes up a lot of space, 15% of the capacity compared to standard.)
Business (big comfortable seats, about half of the capacity of standard)
Premium (more legroom + better seats compared to standard, 80% capacity)
Standard (what is considered "second class" in most of the world, in this train has a 2+3 seating layout)

It is based in 4 combinations:
a mixed class by default 400m long train (could be made into a 250m long variant)
a mixed class by default 800m long train
a second class 400-800m long train

and my favorite one: the "bribing politicians" version - which is basically an ALL executive / business class train.


Some stats of the train:

Acceleration: awesome, as all maglevs are. Not really comparable to normal trains.
Max speed: 600kph
Pax: between 16 - 2880
Running costs: 0.2 - 0.3 (depending on classes)
Maintenance costs: a car costs on average 12 000 / day to maintain.
Width of the train: 3.4m

Costs: between 20 million for the 16 pax train and 190.5 mln for the default 800m mixed class version


Q: Why is this train and its track so expensive?

I intend maglev to be used only in the very late game. Maglev is very expensive to build and maintain in real life, and only build between places having very very high demand. This mod aims to give you the same experience in nimby.
