描述
Improvements for the Company of Heroes 2 AI, "what the AI should have been"
Designed to be more challenging and fun to play against while staying as close as possible to the vanilla experience.

Featuring :
- Finely tuned build orders for Standard, Hard, and Expert, following the current patch metagame.
- Majority of abilities and commander unit dispatches are unlocked and optimized for the AI.
- Better management and preservation of squads and vehicles, including healing and a better repair/retreat system.
- Revamped attacking variables to make pseudo-teamwork possible between squads.
- Bugfixes including the infamous "bug" that stops AI from building more units late game.
- Tuned resource cheats for each difficulty so killing a model actually means something even against Expert.

The complete changes from the original AI are way too many too list, you just have to experience it yourself.

If per_unit_scale_historical is greater than 0 the AI will eventually stop building the unit. Useful for early/mid game units like halftracks.

Definitely felt a bit more like fighting against a real player. For sure the AI is still incompetent but much less so than usual. I always have thought that game developers should put a lot more effort into their AI... but in the meantime it's nice to see that the community has some figures who try to tweak it :)

I'm curious about some of your changes and mirroring them in a mod that I'm making. Most importantly, I really want to fix the bug that causes the AI to stop building, and I would love to implement your healing/repair/retreat fixes. I saw you posted the source code, which is excellent, and I'll try to find that stuff on my own; but is there any chance you remember where those fixes in particular are?

ai definitely gets smarter but i feel like they still have like at least 2x the resource advantage. This is especially noticeable on expert when i squad wiped two conscripts early game and the AI was still able to get multiple penals and a light tank. It's bs
