Appartenente, come per il minuetto, alla famiglia dei treni Alstom Coradia Meridian, il "Jazz" rappresenta la prosecuzione negli ordini di acquisto di materiale moderno. Il treno è di tipo commerciale e viene venduto in diversi allestimenti; Trenitalia ha scelto principalmente l'allestimento a 5 casse, del tipo metropolitano o aeroportuale (registrato come ETR 425). Come ordine secondario, sono state acquistate anche delle versioni a 4 casse, con allestimento esclusivamente metropolitano (ETR 324).
Rispetto al minuetto elettrico, la potenza delle motrici è quasi doppia mentre la velocità massima rimane invariata. La disposizione interna dei sedili è, ovviamente, diversa, in virtù dei diversi possibili allestimenti.
Questa mod verrà aggiornata, a fini di miglioramenti estetici, non appena sarà possibile disporre del figurino quotato del treno reale.

This train is part of the Alstom Coradia Meridian family of trains. The "Jazz" represents the continuation of purchase orders for modern equipment. The train is of a commercial type and is sold in different configurations; Trenitalia has mainly chosen the 5-car set-up, in the metropolitan or airport type (registered as ETR 425). As a secondary order, 4-cars versions were also purchased, as exclusively metropolitan version (ETR 324).
Compared to the electric older "minuetto", the power of the engines is almost doubled while the maximum speed remains unchanged. The internal arrangement of the seats is obviously different, by the possible different set-ups.
This mod will be updated, for aesthetic improvements, as soon as it is possible to have the quoted figure of the real train.
