After Counter-Strike: Source, our favourite game designer and weapon animator Minh "Gooseman" Le teamed up with some people from Korea to make a mediocre pay to win first person shooter called Tactical Intervention, using the Source engine. The game was a critical and commercial bomb due to being shit. You may know it as the game where you can shoot people while driving a car that Jerma played once. Since shutting down in 2017, there has been no way to play anything approximating Tactical Intervention.

Until now.

Some people have told me that it is unfair for me to call Tactical Intervention a "shit game". To you, I ask this: If it was so great, why weren't you playing it? Game'd still be around if you played and bought more weapon rentals.

1. Open your Spawn Menu (Q by default).
2. Navigate to the Weapons tab, and search for the category "Tactical Intervention (Arctic)"
3. Select your desired weapon.
4. To get ammo, navigate to the Entities tab, and search for the category "Tactical Intervention - Ammo"
5. Click on the Ammo Crate icon to spawn it.
6. Walk up to the Ammo Crate and hold +use (E by default) to collect ammo and grenades.
7. To customize a weapon, press your Context Menu button (C by default) to open the Customization Menu.
8. Select your desired weapon attachments. The Free Attachments setting is enabled by default, so you do not need to spawn attachment entities.

CUSTOMIZE: C (+menu_context)
BLINDFIRE: B (+zoom)
THROW GRENADE: E + LEFT MOUSE (+use and +attack)
CHANGE GRENADE: E + RIGHT MOUSE (+use and +attack2)
MELEE/SCOPE: RIGHT MOUSE (+attack2)

- How do I use the Nuclear Device?: Collect it as ammunition, and then throw it like a grenade. Use the C4 detonator to trigger it.
- Is this a faithful recreation of the original game's gunplay?: Alas, I am neither able to spawn guns in the limited offline test version of Tactical Intervention I have access to nor can I retrieve stats from the game itself. I have simply made up gunplay all on my own. The gunplay was probably terrible anyway, so it is really no big loss.
- Can you add iron sights?: No.
- How can I melee attack while using a scope?: This is not possible for balance purposes.
- Can I use the assets from this mod in my own mod?: Sure, it's not like I own them.
- The blindfire animation doesn't match where the bullets come from.: I tried my best but there's really nothing I can do about this.
- How did you get access to this game's files?: The only way is to have played the game before it shut down in 2017.
