USS Bon Homme Richard (CVA31) - Carrier's Strike Group

The addon for ARMA 3 by NightIntruder ("Author") ver. 20211027.087 alpha

The main purpose of making this mod was to provide ARMA3 players with access to an aircraft carrier and its supporting ships from the mid-Cold War (and the Vietnam War) era. There are many limitations of the source material that rendered some features hard/impossible to achieve in RV engine. Currently, this addon is merely landable/walkable static CVA's deck with working capults and arresting gear, and that's it. Also, the supporting ships are basically floatable props. Please, do not expect anything beyond that, at this moment. We were working on this for some time. What you are asked to do in return is to read the whole Readme, EULA and comply with these. It will take a few minutes only.

NOTES ON USE OF THE ADDON:
- the CVA31 can be found under Empty -> Structures -> Aircraft carrier (static) -> USS Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31)
- the supportimg ships can be found under BLUFOR -> Boats, they may need reversing their direction they spawn with to be alligned with the carrier heading
- server key is available in "key" folder in the downloaded package
- it is recommended to look at and adjust (if needed) the addon configuration you can find at Options -> Controls -> Configure Addons -> CVA31 (there are a few keypresses set up by defualt). The default keypresses are:
........tailhook lower/rise:______Ctrl H
........request for approach:____Shift Ctrl F
........landings statistics:______Ctrl T
........attach a plane to CAT:___Shift \
........salute action:__________Ctrl \
........abort take-off:_________Ctrl A
Note, to have that customization option available you need to create mission with single player and BHR put on map and preview/play the mission.
- use of Mako boat: get to driver seat and then all actions are available from mouse scroll wheel menu. The proper sequence is: Launch rescueboat -> Release rescueboat -> Recover rescueboat -> Secure rescueboat [WIP]

KNOWN BUGS / POSSIBLE ISSUES / IMPERFECTIONS:
- only flight deck of the CVA is walkable/drivable, watch your steps
- using CVA in a MP scenario on dedicated server wasn't fully tested
- the supporting ships are merely floatable props, walkable deck and physx interactions may not work properly
- double davit representation during Mako boat launch/recovery, other problems might show up as well
