Steam KA Tender - DB Livery

The Steam KA tender from the base game in a typical “Deutsche Bundesbahn“ (federal rail Company of germany, since 1994 “Deutsche Bahn AG“: non-federal, privat rail company) livery with a black upper part and red wheels. This design was used for most of the steam trains operated in german rail-traffic.
Since all steam trains have been replaced with diesel-electric or full-electric train engines, steam trains, or at least the few that have been restored, are only used in museum rides for non-commercial use.

The NZR KA Class, which is originally from New Zeeland (as you should know from the game), has never been used in germany. Since it is a “fictional“ german steam train I gave it the also fictional Baureihe (class) Number 13.
