Leírás
This mod will group ACE arsenal entries and allow to pick a model using options. It avoid having a lot of combinaisons listed.

It needs compat mods to work :
- USP version
- AMF version

This version requires ACE 3.16, and will not work with earlier versions.

So for anyone struggling with the helper tool app insisting that Arma 3 Tools isn't installed, I looked at the source code, and the app seems to be digging around in non-existent registry entries to find the installation directory. In my case I had to add the install directory to a string entry here with Regedit to fix it:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Steam App 233800\InstallLocation

I'm not sure if Steam simply neglected to create the registry values or what, but I suspect it's because I copied my Steam library from my old PC. Completely uninstalling and reinstalling Arma 3 Tools might fix it, but verifying the tools files clearly does ♥♥♥♥ all, in classic Valve fashion.

Seeing as it looks like the author has been away, does anyone have any resources on making compat packs with the helper tool? The author's discord link no longer works, the github page doesn't make the process very clear, and there is virtually no direction anywhere at all otherwise. I've been fighting with the helper tool for 2 days and would love to talk with someone who knows how to use it!

Seems some weapons and gear are missed in this. Is there a more up todate version of this mod to include newer DLC and stuff?

The ACE3/CBA_A3 loadouts are actually identical to the vanilla loadouts, except there's extra data (the face, the voice, and anything else) after the loadout itself. If you ignore/drop the extra data beforehand, you can save the loadout as is.

Oh yeah, that's a feature of ACEAX core, it has to do with me using the faction tags which I did because they seemed to be the best fit. I'll have to look into it later. Also, thanks for the WS compat!
