Note: perform tactical reloads! If you empty your current magazine, you will LOSE the gun, regardless of its reserve ammo pool.

The Last Stand Update ready script for the M60 slot. Does not include a HUD icon. The stats fit any Machinengewehr 42 with a 50-round snail drum.

This addon replaces SCRIPTS (changes the in-game weapon stats)! It only works on a server (i.e. your own or your friend's host) which has this script enabled. That also means that if a server is enforcing consistency, you may get kicked. Disable this mod and restart the game if you have trouble with joining servers.

The script changes are:
  • 50+10 round capacity (def. 150) - ten extra rounds
  • 25 damage per shot (def. 50) - halved, but still instagibs Common Infected
  • ~1091 rounds per minute (def. ~545) - doubled
  • 800 reserve ammo (def. 0) - AMMO_TYPE_MINIGUN

Hey! Guess what? They work just fine together! I can pretty much change all my M60 scripts to not have ammo reserve changes and set the capacity to proper amounts and just list the M60 Fixes as a prerequisite.

I made it 60 so that it matches the 50 round drum, but you have a few extra rounds so you don't immediately drop the gun. There's a mod or a few that make the M60 not drop when emptied; I should test compatibility with it/them.

So that's it! This script increases the rate of fire and clears the magazine in 3-4 seconds. I don't have time to change the bullets. I take off in the game. It's like experiencing World War II. It's great! At the same time, the recoil force is so strong that it can't be suppressed. The number of mg42 bullets in World War II should be 50/75 rounds.

It shouldn't work online and neither does it work with some other scripts.

from what i can tell, your script overrides the M60 and GL Server fix

also, can you make the reserve smaller, maybe 200 or 180 ?
