Metrostroi Map gm_metro_ndr_val "NDR Victoria Avenue Line"


Hi !


This addon is a map set in a fictive place to work with the the Metrostroi Metro Simulator addon.

This map has 9 stations, 1 depot and feature 2/6 ARS signal frequency and Ron's gm_berlin track pack and signal. There is dispatching room in the depot and at stations that have return points or any switch nearby. The line is about 9 km long ( 5,6 mi ) and mostly double track tunnel. Driving one way takes about 15 minutes and making a round trip from the depot takes about 40 minutes.

For SPB trains ( except the 81-722 ) it's highly reccomended to only stop at the 4 car marker no matter how long your train is.

By the way, this addon can always be improved, so if something seems wrong or you find bugs in the map, don't hesitate to report it on the "Bug Tracker" thread !

Special thanks for anybody that have participated in this long 2 and half year of developpement :
- Ron for his massive help with Hammer and Lua coding, his gm_berlin trackpack that I could have used since beta version of it and a lot of things that I've maybe forgotten :kek:
- Saku for learning me tips and tricks with Hammer
- All the private test team member to help me figure out bugs that I couldn't find in single player
- And everyone else I've forgot and you of course to have downloaded this map !

@PilotBaptiste Hi, technically if you have set the announcer correctly on the 81-722 it should say the correct destination that you choose, i'll try to see later on if I can reproduce your error. And thanks for the feedback I'm happy there are still people playing the map !!

Hello! Thanks for the map! I try to find out how to display the train number so I dont get "Out of Service" on the station panel ? Im using the 722 ?

Hello, late answer for all comments below as the new Steam notification system is very great at not notifying :)

First thanks again for your message still happy that after all these years the map still have a little success and you still like it !

I have planned new lines but I forgot if I've already stated it but since 2 year and half I now have a job and can't spend most of my free time on map making and i lost a bit of the motivation for it, but I hope as you to continue on making the map when I'll find time and ressources for it :steamthumbsup:

Also the map will receive some updates such as a new centralized signal box, new signalling and newer departure display, again have to find motivation and ressources for it as stated above :)

And @猪尼娜 for the map name it has indeed changed, the wiki is not up to date sadly the map name should be gm_metro_ndr_val_v2r1

The map just won't load with gm_metro_ndr_val nor with gm_metro_ndr_val_v1 as it's listed at Metrostroi wiki. What's the name then???

Hi TheCreepy31! I've got a question: will there be any more updates for this map? It's a cool map that creates good impression and I hope there will be some new lines and updates in the future, right?

Epic map, reminds me of the Yonge-University line of the Toronto Subway

@timar Thanks for the feedback ! I know about the flying passenger when boarding off at some stations, already tried to fix things but with no results sadly. There should be some upcomming update but in a long time as my free time has decreased a lot since I now have a work.

This map is really great! No bugs, no lags. Stations are as just as cool (and the announcer too)! I really like this map. But there's one little problem with passengers: at some stations they walk in the air while boarding/unboarding the train. Anyway, it's one of the best maps! 10/10 :steamthumbsup:

P.S. I'll be looking forward new updates and lines for this map :)
