Moar Power - All in one v0.9.2

Info
Are you tired of spamming gyroscopes and thrusters throughout your large block ships? Then look no further.
This mod adds stronger variants of thrusters, gyroscopes and moar to come. Energy/fuel consumption and PCU values were changed to keep it balanced. Build time and component requirements were changed for some(for now).

Note
Only large block variants were changed, unless otherwise stated.

Requires "Sparks of Future" DLC.

Gyroscopes
  • 10x - 75 PCU
  • 100x - 100 PCU

Tuned Thrusters (2x stronger - large grid, small and large)
  • Vanilla Atmo Thruster - 20/25 PCU
  • Vanilla Hydro Thruster - 20/25 PCU
  • Vanilla Ion Thruster - 20/25 PCU
  • Sci-Fi Atmo Thruster - 20/25 PCU
  • Sci-fi Ion Thruster - 20/25 PCU

Advanced Thrusters (5x stronger - large grid, small and large)

Known bugs
None so far.
This mod adds new variants to gyroscopes and thrusters, vanilla items are unchanged.

You may use the mod for your own servers (public and/or private) as long as credit is given.
Without permission from me and/or significant changes to the mod (renaming, description and value changes and similar do not count as significant), no re-uploads of any kind to any platform is permitted.

Added updated efficiency values of H2 engines to the patch notes, also see below:
-Vanilla LG H2 thruster: 7.2MN @ 4.82 kL/s,
- "Tuned" LG H2 thruster: 14.4MN @ 3.21 kL/s
- "Advanced" LG H2 thruster: 36.6MN @ 4.28 kL/s

Oooooh, I thought they just scaled (2x power = 2x hydrogen cost, 5x power = 5x hydrogen cost, etc)

If they're 4x more efficient though then this mod is going to be alot of fun

These H2 thrusters have power around 2.5x and 5x of normal, with efficiency of 2x and 4x (if I remember correctly)

I haven't played SE in over a year, back then I used Overhauled Tiered Thrusters (I /think/ with the Hydrogen Rebalance mod?) so Hydrogen was a pretty efficient and powerful method of propulsion (ie, moving a flagship from one point to another didn't run out of 200 large hydrogen tank's worth of hydrogen)

I'm not sure if Keen has made any changes since then to hydrogen efficiency, couldn't find any info in patch notes- so I was just curious if there was still a mod that did that (since both mods I used previously don't work anymore apparently)

Do you find them to efficient enough or too efficient? I've recently changed the values, but haven't tested them.

Only if you edit the "Cubeblocks_Thrusters2x5x.sbc" file and look for the line "Efficiency" in the H2 thrust part and set it to "1.0".

Is there any way to change Hydrogen consumption values (or any mod that does it, that still works?) with this one

That's pretty much my only hesitancy with getting back into SE
