Artificialis - Paleogene Collection

Welcome to the Cenozoic! Our research has brought us to a new Era, starting with the Paleogene and the wonderful lifeforms that live in that time. With your help, we can complete our studies and bring back these ancient animals.

This collection will focus on the Green River Formation, between 48 and 53 million years ago. A network of temperate lakes and rivers, the climate was warmer at this time, with little to no ice and a much smaller difference in temperature between the equator and the poles. Many families of modern fish were starting to settle into the roles we see them in today after the recent mass extinction event before this time.

This collection is intended for beginner through moderately experienced aquariums, with the only criteria to start being observational data. Specialized beach tanks may be required to house some of the higher rank animals.
