Modern MAGLEV Track

Opis
Welcome to the transportation of the future!

MAGLEV stands for (MAG)netic (LEV)itation. MAGLEV trains are driven only by magnetic fields, unlike a monorail, which usually refers to a classic drive system with wheels (horizontal and or vertical). Since MAGLEV trains are not hindered by the friction of wheels, they can reach much higher travel speeds of up to 600 km/h. In a vacuum tube (as proposed by the Hyperloop system: Hyperloop track asset), even speeds above the speed of sound are possible.

I made this track for my High-speed MAGLEV train, which is designed exactly around this track.

I also made this station for the track: Futuristic MAGLEV station.

Includes station track for asset creators. If you want to update existing monorail stations, you can use the Touch This! Tool mod to replace the vanilla monorail station track with this one. The width of one concrete track is exactly 1.5 metres. One lane is 3 metres wide. The recommended width between two platforms is 6 metres, which is exactly the width of existing monorail stations, so you don't have to worry about visual issues.

Are track switches possible with this track? Or am I stuck having to construct loops for trains to turn around with this track?

@Nickayz That was my original intent and still my desire. What I described in my last posting was my compromise workaround.

@rlong9000 I guess I missunderstood you originally. I thought you wanted to use the MAGLEV tracks, which are obviously monorail tracks, for outside connections.

Thanks for the feedback, I did not realise it was monorail - but indeed very cool.
Cool usage from rlong9000 (How did h*** did you find out ;D) and thanks to Nickays.

– I was/am looking for a full set modern Railway Network with preferably concrete or at least a sleek moder design. Found a Chinese asset, but I need it to include at least 1 lane 1 Way, and best also 2 lane 1 way – it is for an already build Trainabaout.

@Nickayz Turns out that if you build a rail connection from the edge of the map to a rail-to-monorail station, designate the rail as passenger only, and convert the station monorail tracks to SC Maglev station tracks.... tourists and commuters wilt ride the train in from off map,, transfer to the SC Meglev trains to continue their journey! Thank you again for all you add to the game!

They are just monorail tracks. So you can use any monorail vehicle.

I guess these tracks only work for trains suited for the MAGLEV tracks, correct or?

@rlong9000 Thanks! You mean connecting them outside of the map? I've never read about that. You probably have to ask some advanced modder if monorails can work like that. I'm just an asset creator. Tell me if you find out :D

Hi, Nickayz! What would it take to use these tracks for outside connections? I'm envisioning the SCMaglev for passengers and the standard rails for cargo to the outside.
