Description
Currently the mod is in testing phase, i havent disabled vanilla weapons/tech for the Tau'ri for better comparison and they also get to pick both ascension paths in each playthrough.

For the 3.14 version I reuploaded the old mod to the workshop. To continue your previous games subscribe to the legacy mod.

This mod adds:
Origins, Traits, Buildings, Edicts, Decisions,Technologies, Ships, Modules, Events and more.

Races

Ancient: for now only 1 Tradition path is available, psionic will come later
Tau'ri: event based gameplay, choose between Asgard or Ancient path (Traditions and Ascension Perk)

Traveler: not playable enclave, they sell resources, technologies and ships

Choosing an Origin will provide a unique starting system and lock the species trait. The trait can be seleced alone and it is the deciding factor to unlock technologies and other features for each race.
Creating empires with only the trait but not the corresponding Origin can be useful if you want to spawn more of a given race. (Each Origin is 1 per game so it will block additional spawns of the same)

Ship sets in the mod: Ancient, Tau'ri, Wraith and Goa'uld (downscaled ships compatibility included)


FAQ

How can i set the species to spawn in my games?
-You click on the predifined SG races and click on save. Then you can set the bird to always spawn.
-Create your own races. The racial trait itself unlocks all research and stuff for that race.

Why cant it just spawn without me doing something?
-Because paradox decided it would be fun if predefined races had their spawn options set in stone.

Why didnt you set them to force spawn by default so i dont have to click so many times?
-Because it would not be possible to turn them off if i did. I prefer people having a say in what they want to do.

What DLCs do i need?
-For now only Tau'ri and Ancient are playable. As more races are added DLCs will be required for their content.

I can pick their trait even if i dont have the DLC. So why do i need any DLC?
-Because traits only unlock things I added to the game. Unfortunately some races use DLC content to funtion properly.

Can I spawn more of each race?
-Only if you choose the trait without the Origin. Traits can be picked several times while Origins are once each.
Traits are what ultimately unlock all content. Origins only unlock starting system and unique Civic

Im not too active here, if you want to reach me youll have better luck on discord.
With any bug I would first suggest disabling all other mods to see if the bug is still present.
(just disabling other mods on a save game usually just breaks even more things as the game expects missing assets and often crashes the game even, so start a new game and try to recreate the bug with only SGC enabled)

I've found the issue. Stargate Contingency and Ethics And Civics mod have some kind of UI error occurring. Together, the decisions button disappears from the Ui. I am not sure why though. I'm told that Ethic and Civics has had some really odd Ui issues in the past but this isn't present without Stargate Contingency.

No one knows why it crashes and why specifically around 100 years passed... For now im just working on new content coz bug hunting seems useless

i dont know why but my game just crashes after like 80-120 years into the game i am only playing this mod any advice?

Hey man, still having crashes with the UI switched off. Going to have a play about with it but the MOD is gold when it works.

The UI Overhaul mod might cause crashes i could not recreate. So if you have crashes just use the mod alone. As i keep adding content it is only gonna be less and less compatible with everything else

I only have MEM and tradition mods, there isn't anything that modifys vannil tech like that.
