On December 16, 1994, White Tiger Kenpo Karate practicioner Keith Hackney faced the now-disgraced Joe Son in the semi finals of that night's UFC 4 tournament. In their meeting, Hackney would thwart an attempt at a standing guillotine from Son, reversing position on the ground to attain side control. From there, Hackney would take full advantage of the sparse rulebooks of the early UFC events to deliver pre-cognitive justice to Son by landing seven straight punches to the groin, taking the fight out of his foe and defeating him shortly afterwards.
