Princess of Cute Hive

Description
Adds Hive Princess for Western and Southern Hives.
Separate addon for "Cute Hive" mod.

Several appearance options are available. "Cute Hive" look made through slider, so you can also use the standard prince look if you like, just with crown.

Princesses are the "female counterparts" of princes. They are not a separate race.
The game considers them to be female NPCs, and they use female gear and animations. So the body for this race has been redesigned to reduce clipping with equipment.

Yes, we cannot merge or edit sliders ‘on the fly’; the game will only use one file per race.

Apologies for the double-post, but I figured it out I think. It was the 'No RGB patch' that was adding Cute Hive sliders for all hivers. I just deactivated that mod and manually removed the colour range sections for both male and female Hive Princes through Notepad++.

I do think your Cute Hive mod is really great! It's just for this particular playthrough I wanted one cute character with normal hivers.

Hi there! Been having a lot of fun with this mod. I only installed this one and not the Cute Hive mod proper because I wanted to keep the default look of hivers while having a Hive Princess be playable. But I noticed even with just this mod + the no RGB patch installed, all hivers now have the cute appearance, even without the Cute Hive mod. Is there a way to make it so NPC hivers have their default, non-cute appearance?

Just putting the idea here that we need a mod that makes all those Lost Drones random encounters Cute Hive Princesses. Also their recruitable by anyone.

How difficult do chu fink it would be?

Depends on how well you know how to work with 3D and blender.
If you have at least basic knowledge, then ‘transplanting’ the already edited head from this mod to the body of a regular Hive Prince will not be so difficult. Then it will remain only to edit the .xml file with the list of sliders (for character creation), so that they appear and work in the game.

The community has some basic guides on how to work with the game file format.

Can we get a male mesh for compatibility with hiver armors?

It won't help.
Since this is an addon for the Hive Prince race, and it adds a female gender to that race.
As a result, if you replace the female mesh with a male one, all other armor (not exclusively designed for hivers) will have clipping.
The only correct solution here is to create separate female models for the hiver armors.
