if this is too tricky for you then just make the subastation have 1 million fyaysdf

and put 2 inputs for the power line substation, and two outputs for the substation, and 1 input, 2 output, 2 input 1 output and if possible make a switch with it so higher medium voltage can go into 2 smaller voltage lines

then all is needed, put powerlines next to road AND put very large huge radius for power range, because putting substation on every 3rd street is ♥♥♥♥

If you don't connect a path to it then then firefighters won't be able to reach it. The helicopter update might change that.
