hey, do you have the normal maps or any pbr maps for the combine trains ?, i would like to "borrow" them for my project, since i dont own hla and cant extract the assets myself.

hey, i shot you a friend request. if you're open to it, i'd love to commission you on a per model rate to port over a few more of the combine assets from HLA into source 1 for gmod. theres so many good little new assets for RP that got totally slept on and i tried to do it myself but couldnt get a workflow. lmk if this is something youd be open to discuss, thanks.

Pretty easy. You can use either GWTool (needs to be downloaded) or then Gmad (can be found in the G-Mod bin folder), then you need to find the gma file which is nowadays in "(disk you have steam on)\steamapps\workshop\(this pages URL ID)" just search the URL ID and you should be given a folder with the gma file inside it. After you've found the gma file, copy it and either paste it into a new folder like "Extracted G-Mod Addons" or paste it in the G-Mod bin folder, then use either the built-in extract tool Gmad or then use GWTool (which I recommend using this, because with Gmad it can take a long time to extract big addons) to extract the gma file, just simply drag and drop the gma file to either one. And there you go, you have the models and materials.

(Also an important note: keep in mind the gma files name, because the folder will have the gma files name if you use Gmad. With GWTool it will use the URL ID and the addon name)

Does anyone know how to extract these models? I want to import other software.Please, help me!!!!!!
