GeTA Sulfur - ac44

The GeTA Sulfur railway (Geo-thermal Tranz Alpine) recently purchased several Ac440CW diesel locomotives which are the most modern and powerful locomotives in their fleet.

These locomotives rapidly replaced the older DA-class engines for both passenger services and freight.
their reliability and power easily outmatched all the rest of the GeTA Sulfur's fleet.

The older fleet of locomotives is still often used though, and are commonly seen pulling freight between the multiple sulfur mines of Darby County.

The new livery used for these Ac440CW's incorporated some new colors and has a more vibrant pallet than previous company liveries. This is mainly to accompany the increase in passenger focus, and to give the Geo-thermal Tranz Alpine a new look in the public eye.
