Ms. Maribel, based on ComProject 0377b, makes a splash into Rivals as an OC fighter! Use her Seashell for submersive combos, or to power up her other specials!

Moveset:

Nspecial: Seashell! You'll toss out a seashell, which pops into place as if it were in an LCD game! Every time it moves, it'll make a hit! You can hit it as well to make some interesting combos, but be aware your opponent can hit it too! If you hit it with a special move, that move will get powered-up!

Fspecial: Surf's Up! She boards her surfboard and surfs forwards! Hit something while the waves are out, and she'll jump! You can then cancel into any aerial move! When hitting the Seashell, she'll go much further!

Uspecial: Burst Your Bubble! She'll sit on a bubble, smack it four times, and it'll pop! You can pop it early by pressing special! The pop also works as a projectile! When hitting the Seashell, she'll go into a fast bubble-bursting recovery with a strong final hit!

Dspecial: Anchors Aweigh! She'll slam straight down with her giant anchor, from the original art! It has a brief sweetspot that is devastating! It's good to keep in mind that you can walljump out of it! Additionally, you can hold down to move through platforms! When hitting the Seashell, all her momentum will be negated, and she'll swing the anchor upwards instead!


Jab: A simple two-hit jab, but with extra range with a pair of crab claws!

Ftilt: A quick thwack of an electric eel!

Utilt: A multihit that tosses a small seashell above herself

Dtilt: Slaps the ground with her tail! The early hit has a light meteor effect!

Dash attack: Bursts forwards with her wooden shield! Sends upwards for a great aerial combo starter!

Fstrong: Sends a big bubble outwards, hitting with every movement! Great range!

Ustrong: Slaps the air three times with her tail! Great at catching aerial opponents!

Dstrong: Two treasure chests open at her sides!

Nair: Sings a mermaid song! The three notes will send opponents up!

Fair: A multihit that uses a starfish!

Bair: Slams a big fish behind her! Very strong!

Uair: Strikes her trident above herself! Has a tipper that's very strong!

Dair: A powerful meteor smack with her tail! Has a weak hit later into the move.
