Conditional-Speech

Description
This mod generates speech utilizing a number of conditions as well as some randomization to create dynamic dialogue.

Note:
  • Color of speech can be changed in the in-game menu under "multiplayer".
  • The game will simulate volume by grayscaling your speech. Pick a vibrant color as to tell the difference in volume.

This mod includes stock phrases for all of the moodles as well as some events.
All of them can be toggled in the menu.

Additionally, the mod applies a dynamic filter on chat depending on moodle states.
Being drunk, scared, or in pain can make you scream out or be hard to understand.

There are also sandbox options which control this feature - but it's unclear if there's a bug.

"It should already be visible in MP. However, if the text is gray (or rather the closer is it to gray) it is lower in volume down to "thought" instead of spoken."

I don't mean being able to see my own text but other player speeches; or if that is what you mean then in my time using this mod I haven't seen anyone elses speeches nor have anyone seen others on the servers I play/host

It should already be visible in MP. However, if the text is gray (or rather the closer is it to gray) it is lower in volume down to "thought" instead of spoken.

Crouching lowers the volume, and certain cases are forced to be thought to avoid constantly attracting zombies.

Love this mod, always included in my lists when I play or run a server.

I just wanna pitch an idea, unless it's done somewhere else or enabled by a different mod - but I'd love the ability for Conditional Speech to be seen by other players; I think would be a great addition to the mod!

And if you use a modded perk to never sleep the character never stop complain about how tired he is

@Chuckleberry Finn
For some reason, with only this mod enabled in 42.10, mod options do absolutely nothing. Even disabling every option, reloading etc. and character still speaks constantly about all his suffering and fears.

@TheyCallMeVincenzo
If developers didn't change previous mechanics, agoraphobia does not stop generating fear, but character just loses panic faster the longer you survive. For example my 3 months character using this mod still screams in panic when looking at a zombie popping up, even though panic moodle doesn't even show up.
TheyCallMeVincenzo Jul 24 @ 12:15pm
Does the yelling about going outside (because you're an agoraphobe) end after a couple months because agoraphobia stops generating fear after a while?
