2nd Installment of the "HBS American Steam" range, featuring a UV that is planned to be interchangable with future models.

2-8-0's were used on major railroads a freight engines, and often did jobs like switching or passengers, branchlines or work on the mainline, being quite utilitarian there lives, lasting thru the final years of steam. A total of 146 2-8-0's have been preserved in the United States, with many in operational condition.

This model is based off of the Illinois Central 2-8-0's built in 1903, serving for the railroad until 1957, being sold to the Steamtown USA collection in 1966.

Multiple variants have been made from different roads to specific features.
