A very, very simple addon that makes armor stop 100% of damage until it runs out.

Overview
This addon changes armor so that instead of stopping 80% of damage and obeying some inscrutable Valve algorithm, it instead simply acts as an extension to your health bar.

There is nothing to configure. Simply install and it will take effect.

only issue for me is that fall damage applies to the armor points instead of HPs

What I like about this is that it basically disables any sort of blood effect or mod on the player.

If that part of the code was separated and made into it's own addon, that'd be amazing.

I literally couldn't die to bullets when using this addon. Negative millions of health and still alive, unwavering. Melee, props, and explosions worked just fine.

why is my HP regenerating from this?

but it still takes the default armor damage, meaning the health extension extends like 3 health bars worth. A 73 damage shot will do 16 when you have armor on

there is no "bind" to put on armor. you just put on armor like you would if you didnt have this mod. this mod doesnt add armor plates like call of duty.

Something to note, though I doubt this'll get an update: If a poison headcrab hits you, you immediately lose all your armor.
