Proficiency Class Plugin: Resistance Leader - Jane Kelly


This mod adds a Resistance Leader: Intelligence Officer class intended to be used with [WOTC] Jane Kelly Starting Soldier as a special class for Jane Kelly that fits alongside (and depends upon) my [WOTC] Proficiency Class Pack.

The class is set to be automatically assigned to Jane Kelly if using the mod above and is not otherwise obtainable. This can be changed in the XComClassData.ini config file or reassigned to soldiers via console command, if desired.



Jane Kelly's Intelligence Officer class has a full 3-branch ability tree and growing proficiency ability just like the core Proficiency Classes. This class is intended as a sort-of special Hero class, so it is has access to some more powerful abilities, but has some trade-offs that keep it mostly in-line with the core classes: The scout build can't match the damage output of the Marksman, the overwatch build doesn't have access to the heavier weapons of the Marine, and the melee build doesn't have the tanking potential of the Assault Infantry.

• Director - Infiltrate enemy territory and scout from the shadows.
  
• Anchor - Provide supporting overwatch fire to cover the movements of your allies.
  
• Fénnid - Legendary warrior that excels at melee executions.

Almost all values for abilities and effects are configurable and will be updated in ability descriptions accordingly. Anywhere you see a colored value in a description, that value can be adjusted. The custom AP costs for abilities can also be adjusted. By default they are intentionally pretty high, but if you don't like it, you can change it.

The following mods are not actually required, but intended to pair with this mod:

• WOTC Jane Kelly Starting Soldier (without this mod or config edits, the class will not be available)

The Intelligence Officer was designed around the same kinds of mods and game environments suggested in the core Proficiency Class Pack mod - the suggested mods there apply here as well, though they are not required.

• None at this time.
