描述
This mod adds Cosmetic vests re-modelled from the Templar/Skirmisher torso looks, for each tier Kevlar/Plated/Powered (and an Augmented Torso Cover to work in line with my Modular XCom Hero Suits mod), for both Males and Females. They are set as Torso Gear Decos, to be used with other torsos of your choice. The purpose of this mod is to allow you to show some armour tier progression even when using civilian looks.

Female vests are fitted to their abdomen, stopping just below their busts, this is because shaping them round the varying bust sizes is almost impossible and the quality would likely be very low.

Male vests cover a large portion of their torso.

Both are fitted more to the centre of the torso to reduce clipping with Jackets/Clothing.


They were inspired by and designed to fit with :

WOTC XCOM: EW Covert Operatives Outfits

But the female vests also work very well with a lot of the options found in :

WOTC Female Clothing Pack

Both of these mods are featured in the screenshots shown with this mod.

Ballistic Vests for both genders also work well with Bare Torsos like those in the Anarchy's Children DLC.

This is my very first cosmetic release, it went through several iterations before I was happy releasing it for public use.

Fair enough, I haven't considered the fact there are different torso cosmetics with different bust sizes.

They'll work with AC chests if running the mod that removes the `Set=` setting from the AC armours, this along with Appearance Manager (or UCR) will allow the other customisation slots. As for the wording, it's the first complaint i've had in the 3 years the mod has been up, but i can see how it could be deemed offensive, and changing it will allow me to answer the other common question - why they are only like that - the answer, honestly, is shaping them round the varying bust sizes is almost impossible, I'd literally have to make about 4-5 versions to account for sizes, and they'd still likely to clip all to hell. Honestly, I just don't have the time, motivation or talent to spend hours on something so relatively minor.

I wasn't able to get this to work, because there's no Torso Gear option with AC torso, I think the user must have Unrestricted Customization for this to work.

Wish this was an option rather than standard. Also I find the wording disgusting, but maybe I'm just too woke.

@Eleanoire possibly, but doubtful to be honest. Like I said shaping them round the varying bust sizes is almost impossible, I'd literally have to make about 4-5 versions to account for sizes.

@zin they don't? I didn't make the torsos these have been cut to fit, I only cut the ballistic plate vests themselves. I cut the female ones below the bust for simplicity and compatibility, it is almost impossible to shape them round the bust on a civilian style cosmetic as especially the ones Kexx makes come in varying sizes, so it would clip all to hell.
