More Friction! - (only Pertam for now)

คำอธิบาย
This mod increases the friction of Pertam's terrain. That doesn't include snow and ice, for realisms sake. I can add other planets as well, if you want.

I made this primariy to avoid thrusters on my heavy vehicles without suffering for it and that works really well so far. It certainly pushes the weight limit for super-heavy bases.

I'm not sure if I should increase the friction values further. At some point small vehicles will probably behave oddly, since this reduces drifting quite a bit. Balancing feedback is greately appreciated!

Cheers and happy driving o/

Try decreasing the max speed on the wheels. This usually happens when you have a spin-out and your wheel gain traction all of a sudden. The sudden stop may make them explode.

I put this mod and my rover exploded XD

Sadly no. I'd really like to do that but I haven't found a value for this in the config files. Friction values for blocks seem to be pretty deepe in the files, somewhere that I can't access easily.

My mods are mostly surface level editing of .sbc files. As far as I can tell, friction can only be edited for voxel materials with that method.

does this apply to regular blocks as well?

It's vanilla, but not a regular suspension.

Those are unsuspended wheels on rotors. Very good if done right, but also very complex.

How did You made double tires?
It's mod, or it's possible to do in vanilla?
